In a few short weeks, I will be going to Washington DC to document the Inauguration of President Donald J Trump. Photographing a Presidential Inauguration is on the short list of my photography goals, along with shooting one of the shuttle launches (if you know someone at NASA or Space X, please let me know).

Unlike most photographers, I will not be taking images of the President himself. Instead, I will be acting as a photojournalist alongside my boss and friend, Jason Lanier. We’ll be taking images of the city and the people during this historic event. There will be no bias present in my work. I’ll capture the good, the bad and the ugly; up to and including rioters. I very much pray to capture more inspirational images than poor or violent behavior. I suppose we’ll see.
