I live in what is demonstrably the greatest country in human history. It isn’t a perfect place. There are problems and those problems grow darker every day.

And yet this ongoing project of Freedom has given the world some of the greatest gifts and defeated some of the worst evils. There is plenty of work still to do, but I am both proud and thankful to have been born here.

The majority of people in this country agree with me.

You wouldn’t know it, but it is true. For all America’s problems, no one is storming Canada’s borders in an attempt to escape. The media, both establishment and social, would have you believe otherwise.

I wanted to do something to show the truth about America. I want to show the proud and the brave.

Starting today, on the day in which we celebrate our Independence and the sacrifices many brave men and women made on our behalf, I am launching the America Project.

If you love America, I want to hear from you. Email me. I don’t care if you are a natural born citizen or an immigrant (legally) looking for a better life. I want doctors, librarians, small business owners, fire fighters, soldiers… I want to show the world the true America through portraits representing you and this country.

For now, the project will be limited to the Gulf South. I need to keep it manageable as far as travel. I will expand when and if it becomes feasible.
