BECOMING A MASTER PHOTOGRAPHER

One of the main reasons for me being part of the Jazzland Project was having the opportunity to learn from Jason Lanier. I have a lot of work to do if I want to achieve my goal of becoming a master of photography.

This past weekend was the first ever in history modeling workshop in a theme park. For one weekend, I stepped down as Jason’s Assistant and became a student in the workshop. The goals of the workshop were to assess and address the weaknesses of the students and to teach us how to work with models and proper use of artificial lighting.

Y’all. This is easily some of the best work of my career. I have more images than I can reasonably share, but I wanted to show some of my favorites from the weekend.

Jason should be announcing more modeling workshops soon. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Jason for getting me this far.

And special thanks to Jason’s other assistant, my friend Courtney Campbell for modeling and being patient with me. Find her on instagram.
